Greater Brisbane Country cradles the Scenic Rim, an area made famous for its remarkable lookouts, as well as the settlements of Woodford and Kilcoy which lead to the “Valley of Lakes”.
The South Burnett is home to the magnificent Bunya Pine Trees, standing guard over their ancient mountain home in the south west at the Bunya Mountains National Park. In the north lie picturesque grazing country towns where fossickers, alongside anglers try their luck.
Queensland’s Garden City, Toowoomba, sits high on the range and only a short drive west is the Darling Downs region with rolling plains and a mix of delightful rural townships.
South East Queensland Country certainly offers a refreshing change of pace.
