The capital and most populous city in Queensland, Brisbane’s metropolitan area offers something for everyone. The Brisbane central business district stands on its original settlement, situated on a bend of the Brisbane River, with the region extending in all directions, from Brisbane River valley between the bay to the Great Dividing Range.
